She works as a general practitioner with an interest in a holistic approach to the patient and the broader context of health problems. In her practice, she has long focused on a comprehensive view of health, which connects the physical, psychological and life levels of the patient. It was the effort to understand the person as a whole that gradually led her to a deeper interest in psychosomatics, psychotherapy and work with lifestyle.
After several years of working in large outpatient clinics, where she cared for thousands of patients, she realized the need to devote herself to medicine with more space for an individual approach. Since 2022, she has been working in the private sphere, which allows her to go more in-depth into patients' problems and devote enough time to them. Given the frequent psychosomatic basis of many diseases, she began psychotherapy training, which allows her to better understand not only the physical, but also the psychological context of health problems.
She has also been working on obesity and lifestyle issues for a long time, combining medical knowledge with a motivational approach and supporting habit change. Her interest in working with the body, movement and holistic medicine brought her to the Pavel Kolář Center for Movement Medicine, where she has the opportunity to further develop these approaches in interdisciplinary cooperation.
