Orthopedics and musculoskeletal traumatology appealed to him at the beginning of his medical studies and he has remained faithful to this field throughout his professional career. He has spent most of his clinical life at the Central Military Hospital in Prague, where he has long been involved in the development of modern orthopedic care. Since 2025, he has been at the helm of the Orthopedics Clinic of the 1st Faculty of Medicine, Charles University and the Central Military Hospital as its head.

In his clinical practice, he specializes primarily in the shoulder girdle. He focuses on arthroscopic and reconstructive procedures, shoulder joint replacements, and musculoskeletal traumatology. He emphasizes precise diagnostics, an individual approach to the patient, and the use of modern surgical procedures to restore function and quality of movement.

In addition to clinical work, he is actively involved in scientific and pedagogical activities. He is the author and co-author of a number of professional publications and participates in the education of young doctors and the development of the field of orthopedics in academia.
