Rehabilitation medicine appealed to him during his medical studies, primarily due to his interest in anatomy and the study of human movement. He gradually deepened this interest through both clinical practice and scientific and pedagogical activities. As part of his further education, he completed his doctoral studies at the 2nd Faculty of Medicine of Charles University, where he professionally focused on the issue of spinal cord lesions and the most modern research on electrical stimulation of the spinal cord.
In his clinical practice, he focuses primarily on neurological patients, especially in a university hospital setting. At the same time, his significant professional interest is the care of orthopedic patients - from the diagnosis and therapy of acute injuries to setting up protocols for returning to physical activity after injury. As an active athlete, he sees rehabilitation not only as treatment, but also as a key tool for preventing premature cessation of physical activity after injuries.
In addition to clinical work, he has been engaged in pedagogical activities for a long time. Teaching future health professionals and physiotherapists is an important part of his professional identity and a natural space for transferring modern knowledge of rehabilitation medicine. In contact with patients, he emphasizes individual needs and active cooperation, where the rehabilitation process is perceived as a common path leading to recovery, not as a series of passive visits to medical facilities.
