Proprioception is our body's ability to sense the movement, tension, and position of our own joints and muscles. It helps us maintain balance, coordinate movement, and adapt to changes in space—even with our eyes closed.
Professor Pavel Kolář is now launching a research project aimed at better understanding how proprioception affects sports performance and injury prevention. Anyone between the ages of 10 and 60 who regularly or recreationally plays sports and wants to contribute to the development of new diagnostic and training methods can participate.
The measurement takes approximately 40 minutes and includes tests focusing on mobility, touch (or) spatial coordination of the body. No preparation is required - just arrive in normal clothing.
Each participant will receive an individual report with their results compared to other participants in the pilot phase by the end of February 2026. The results will help create reference standards for further research and clinical practice.
The measurement runs until December 19, 2025.
Help us push the boundaries of human movement.
